Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk has a safety rail to give you peace of mind. Some models come with an trundle drawer with a pull-out that can be used to host sleeping overs, or for adding more storage space under the bed. A lot of midi cabins have desks that can be moved from one level to another, or chests. This provides children with a unique space to store their belongings, and that there's no need to take up valuable floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.

A few of the models have taken it an extra step with cabinet style storage that is flush mounted or part of the headboard/footboard. This is great for storing toys and books.
